Design

Amy worked with her cousin, Kelsey Pearl, professional interior designer, to create the color palette and overall design aesthetic for The Palmer. Kelsey determined that blues, golds, whites, and warm wood tones would update and modernize the look of the historic space, while maintaining a cozy feel.

The entire house was furnished through Wayfair, Amazon, and Alpaca Furniture Revitalization, a woman owned furniture refinisher in Kansas City, with each piece carefully selected to create inviting and welcoming spaces throughout, while creating functionality for guests. All selections were made by Amy, in collaboration with interior designer, Kelsey Pearl, and Amy’s other cousin, Andrea, who has a keen eye for design, with practical influences. It takes a village!
